Lloyd and Mike and all our staff welcome you to The Quay where we hope to deliver you a true gate to plate experience!

For us it’s about traceability, it’s about knowing where our ingredients come from and it’s about being proud of the meals we produce!

Because of this we source only the finest cuts of meat from our farm, Highgate Hill in the Waikato and from our partnership with Omana Station, a local farm near Whangarei which produces some of the best lamb we have tasted. Both our own farm and Omana Station operate on a philosophy that natural grass feed stock produces a fuller flavoured tender cut of beef and lamb.  

We also, through our very own Vege Shack located in Maungakaramea grow most of the vegetables used in our dishes. These are grown using organic techniques in rich volcanic soil giving complete traceability on the produce delivered directly to your plate.

If for any reason you are unhappy with the quality of your meal, don’t blame us, blame the chef!
